\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\nThe CMR international consignment note<\/strong> is a document that proves that a shipment related to the transportation of goods by road<\/a> has been taken over when the place of loading and the place of unloading are in two different states.\n\nThis is a contract of carriage<\/strong> that is prepared by the shipper or shipper and countersigned by the carrier. This document serves as proof of the agreement between the two parties regarding the transportation of the goods, the manner and conditions of the shipment which, must be in accordance with the International CMR Convention<\/strong>.\n

Convention des Marchandises par Route<\/h2>\nCMR<\/strong> stands for Convention des Marchandises par Route<\/strong>, signed in Geneva on May 19, 1956, is a contract governing the rules of the international road transport for consideration<\/strong>, when the place of receipt of the goods and the place for redelivery occur in two different countries, at least one of which is a party to the Convention.\n\nThe CMR document consists of eight chapters and 51 articles<\/strong>, later amended by a protocol in 1976 and made enforceable in Italy<\/strong> by law April 27, 1982 no. 242<\/em>. In May 27, 2008, an important change was added, a protocol that allows the use of electronic CMR instead of paper CMR as proof of delivery occurred.\n\nFirst to sign the CMR were Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Poland, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland, <\/em>then all other European states, Morocco, Tunisia and various Central Asian and Middle Eastern countries<\/em> joined.\n\nAs a reminder, the acronym CMR is also used to identify the document<\/strong> that is issued to regulate international road transport, the wording of which is -international waybill-<\/strong> contract developed by the IRU, International Road Union<\/strong>, in a standard way for all countries, in three different languages.\n
